6. Devadtasutta

36. Timni bhikkhave, devadtni. Katamni ti? Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco kyena duccarita carati, vcya duccarita carati, manas duccarita carati. So kyena duccarita caritv, vcya duccarita caritv, manas duccarita caritv kyassa bhed para mara apya duggati vinipta niraya upapajjati. Tamena, bhikkhave, nirayapl nnbhsu gahetv yamassa rao dassenti aya, deva, puriso amatteyyo apetteyyo asmao abrahmao, na kule jehpacy. Imassa devo daa paetti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj pahama devadta samanuyujati samanughati samanubhsati ambho, purisa, na tva addasa manussesu pahama devadta ptubhtanti? So evamha nddasa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa, na tva addasa manussesu itthi v purisa v stika v nvutika v vassasatika v [passa ma. ni. 3.263] jtiy jia gopnasivaka bhogga daaparyaa [daaparyana (sy. ka. p.)] pavedhamna gacchanta tura gatayobbana khaadanta palitakesa vilna khallitasira [khalita siro (s. p.), khalitasira (sy. ka.) ma. ni. 3.263] valita tilakhatagattanti? So evamha addasa, bhanteti.
Tamena bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho, purisa, tassa te viussa sato mahallakassa na etadahosi ahampi khomhi jardhammo jara anatto, handha kalya karomi, kyena vcya manasti? So evamha nsakkhissa, bhante. Pamdassa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho, purisa, pamdatya [pamdavatya (s. sy. ka. p.) ma. ni. 3.262] na kalyamaksi kyena vcya manas. Taggha tva [ta (ka.)], ambho purisa, tath karissanti yath ta [te (ka.)] pamatta. Ta kho pana te eta [ta kho paneta (s. sy. ka. p.)] ppakamma [ppa kamma (s.)] neva mtar kata, na pitar kata, na bhtar kata, na bhaginiy kata, na mittmaccehi kata, na tislohitehi kata, na devathi kata na samaabrhmaehi kata; atha kho tayveta ppakamma kata, tvaevetassa vipka paisavedissasti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj pahama devadta samanuyujitv samanughitv samanubhsitv, dutiya devadta samanuyujati samanughati samanubhsati ambho purisa, na tva addasa manussesu dutiya devadta ptubhtanti? So evamha nddasa, bhanteti. Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa, na tva addasa manussesu itthi v purisa v bdhika dukkhita bhagilna, sake muttakarse palipanna semna, aehi vuhpiyamna, aehi savesiyamnanti? So evamha addasa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa, tassa te viussa sato mahallakassa na etadahosi ahampi khomhi bydhidhammo bydhi anatto, handha kalya karomi kyena vcya manasti? So evamha nsakkhissa, bhante. Pamdassa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa pamdatya na kalyamaksi kyena vcya manas. Taggha tva, ambho purisa, tath karissanti yath ta pamatta. Ta kho pana te eta ppakamma neva mtar kata, na pitar kata, na bhtar kata, na bhaginiy kata, na mittmaccehi kata, na tislohitehi kata, na devathi kata, na samaabrhmaehi kata; atha kho tayveta ppakamma kata. Tvaevetassa vipka paisavedissasti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj dutiya devadta samanuyujitv samanughitv samanubhsitv, tatiya devadta samanuyujati samanughati samanubhsati ambho purisa, na tva addasa manussesu tatiya devadta ptubhtanti? So evamha nddasa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa, na tva addasa manussesu itthi v purisa v ekhamata v dvhamata v thamata v uddhumtaka vinlaka vipubbakajtanti? So evamha addasa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa, tassa te viussa sato mahallakassa na etadahosi ahampi khomhi maraadhammo maraa anatto, handha kalya karomi kyena vcya manasti? So evamha nsakkhissa, bhante. Pamdassa, bhanteti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj evamha ambho purisa, pamdatya na kalyamaksi kyena vcya manas. Taggha tva, ambho purisa, tath karissanti yath ta pamatta. Tamena, bhikkhave, yamo rj tatiya devadta samanuyujitv samanughitv samanubhsitv tuh hoti. Tamena bhikkhave, nirayapl pacavidhabandhana nma kraa karonti. Tatta ayokhila hatthe gamenti. Tatta ayokhila dutiyasmi hatthe gamenti. Tatta ayokhila pde gamenti. Tatta ayokhila dutiyasmi pde gamenti. Tatta ayokhila majjhe urasmi gamenti. So tattha dukkh tibb [tipp (s.)] khar kauk vedan vediyati, na ca tva klakaroti yva na ta ppakamma byanthoti.
Tamena bhikkhave, nirayapl savesetv [sakahitv (ka.)] kudhrhi tacchanti. So tattha dukkh tibb khar kauk vedan vediyati, na ca tva klakaroti yva na ta ppakamma byanthoti.
Tamena, bhikkhave, nirayapl uddhapda adhosira gahetv vshi tacchantipe tamena, bhikkhave, nirayapl rathe yojetv dittya bhmiy sampajjalitya sajotibhtya [sajotibhtya (sy. ka.)] srentipi paccsrentipipe tamena, bhikkhave, nirayapl mahanta agrapabbata ditta sampajjalita sajotibhta ropentipi oropentipipe tamena, bhikkhave, nirayapl uddhapda adhosira gahetv tattya lohakumbhiy pakkhipanti, dittya sampajjalitya sajotibhtya. So tattha pheuddehaka paccamno sakimpi uddha gacchati, sakimpi adho gacchati, sakimpi tiriya gacchati. So tattha dukkh tibb khar kauk vedan vediyati, na ca tva kla karoti yva na ta ppakamma byanthoti. Tamena, bhikkhave, nirayapl mahniraye pakkhipanti. So kho pana, bhikkhave, mahnirayo
Catukkao catudvro, vibhatto bhgaso mito;
ayopkrapariyanto, ayas paikujjito.
Tassa ayomay bhmi, jalit tejas yut;
samant yojanasata, pharitv tihati sabbadti [pe va. 70-71, 240-241].
Bhtapubba, bhikkhave, yamassa rao etadahosi ye kira, bho, loke ppakni kammni karonti te evarp vividh kammakra karyanti. Aho vatha manussatta labheyya, tathgato ca loke uppajjeyya araha sammsambuddho, tacha bhagavanta payirupseyya. So ca me bhagav dhamma deseyya, tassa cha bhagavato dhamma jneyyanti. Ta kho panha, bhikkhave, na aassa samaassa v brhmaassa v sutv eva vadmi, api ca kho, bhikkhave, yadeva me sma ta sma diha sma vidita tadevha vadmti.
Codit devadtehi, ye pamajjanti mav;
te dgharatta socanti, hnakypag nar.
Ye ca kho devadtehi, santo sappuris idha;
codit nappamajjanti, ariyadhamme kudcana.
Updne bhaya disv, jtimaraasambhave;
anupd vimuccanti, jtimaraasakhaye.
Te appamatt [te khoppamatt (s.), te khemappatt (sy. ka. p.) ma. ni. 3.271] sukhino [sukhit (s. sy.)], dihadhammbhinibbut;
sabbaverabhaytt, sabbadukkha upaccagunti. Chaha.
